Artist Make-Up
The most fun part of the job, but also the hardest part
to draw from at the end of a 16 hour shift on set. The term
"artist" doesn't necessarily mean lofty, obscure creations
that others need to decipher. It requires plenty of research
and organization to create a make-up design. The
talent is already there, but can be useless if a make-up
artist isn't constantly educating and crafting their skill.
I am forever a student of make-up.
With that said, always be flexible with your design (see
