Therapist Make-Up
Every client/actor that sits in my chair has to feel
comfortable. A make-up artist needs to know when to be quiet
and when to engage in conversation. When the actor is
speaking, it doesn't necessarily mean they are speaking to
you - a common mistake made amongst new make-up artists.
My
client's feelings are paramount; they might be preparing to
perform their wedding vows, give an emotional speech, act in
a dramatic scene, or any other difficult situation that
calls for concentration. I never forget that I
have a person in front of me - not a canvas.
